When it recently moved its UK head office to Cyan Park in Coventry, it was vital that business remained undisrupted - and it turned to a company with similar values to its own, Mowbray Workspace.

Having dealt with Mowbray previously, the company knew it could rely on Mowbray again to help plan and design its new warehouse and Office Interiors. The project involved the transformation of a 2,787m2 expanse (30,000 sq ft) to provide a functional, safe, and pleasant workspace.
Mowbray began by dismantling Network’s existing racking system and repurposing it within the new building, reconfiguring the system and supplying and installing new beams to match and create the ideal layout for its Pallet Racking storage and picking system, with varying levels depending on function.
To protect the offices from the MHE (material-handling equipment) Mowbray supplied and installed safety barriers around the perimeter.
Listening to, and understanding, Network, who wanted an open plan feel inside, Mowbray removed an existing partition wall. The floor was skimmed with a levelling compound and a new suspended ceiling installed, using one hour fire rated tiles.
“The tiles alone created a brighter and cleaner finish, replacing the older, yellowed tiles which had been up since the building was erected in 2006,”
Mowbray installed two directors’ offices within the open-plan theme to allow privacy for those in senior positions and installed a new Howden kitchen to offer staff members an area to store their lunches and make hot drinks.
The flooring was replaced in all downstairs areas, using slate grey carpet tiles in the office space and vinyl safety flooring in walkways and staff toilets. Mowbray’s decorating team painted interiors in a crisp white, also refreshing the existing ground floor reception, stairwell and upstairs offices.
